January 09: Meirles
I've been looking for a big change in direction - and I finally found the inspiration! The Cildo Meirles retrospective at the Tate got me thinking about large and room-sized installations, conceptual art and 'economy of expression'.
More than that it's helped 'dislodge' me from my comfort zone of working with programming and music. New projects this term will take a new direction, and I have a couple of installations in the pipeline.
December 08: Improvisor Tool
Putting aside for now jokes about how I am an improvisor tool myself, I presented my improvisor tool in December and am looking at how i'm going to take it forward.
