A game by 2nd year BSc Games Programming Bashar Saade has won a greenlight\u00a0on Steam Greenlight, one of\u00a0the world’s largest digital distribution platforms for PC gaming.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Syrian-Ukranian student Bashar Saade recently developed\u00a0Fluffy Horde<\/em>, as part of the\u00a0three person team Turtle Juice<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fluffy Horde<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0a 2D side-scrolling hybrid between real-time strategy and tower defense. According to the blurb, “It\u00a0revolves around a magical hyper-breeding bunny horde created by a misunderstood Shaman wanderer. After having a dwelling denied in all three kingdoms, the Shaman is willing to take over all of them by force. Can you\u00a0stop the Fluffy Horde?”<\/p>\n

Dr Jeremy Gow<\/a>, programme leader of Goldsmiths’ BSc Games Programming<\/a> says: “Steam is the X Factor<\/em> of indie game development and it’s a\u00a0big deal for any student to get their work onto it. If\u00a0Fluffy Horde gets enough votes to be greenlit, it\u00a0is likely to win\u00a0considerable\u00a0attention.”<\/p>\n
