For the launch of the festival the festival, Goldsmiths&#8217; Sonics Immersive Media Lab hosted a concert and listening room.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1693\" src=\"http:\/\/www.doc.gold.ac.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Unknown-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Unknown-1\" width=\"562\" height=\"376\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.doc.gold.ac.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Unknown-1.jpeg 562w, http:\/\/www.doc.gold.ac.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Unknown-1-300x201.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/www.doc.gold.ac.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Unknown-1-448x300.jpeg 448w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 562px) 100vw, 562px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0presented two electroacoustic compositions, entitled <em>floating sound<\/em> and <em>speaking clock<\/em>\u00a0at the Sonic Lab, Sonic Arts Research Centre.<\/p>\n<p><em>floating sound<\/em> is a composition using the sound of the composer\u2019s bloodstream as a sound source, and was presented as an acousmatic live performance with 16 channel sound system on 23 April.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/51163616&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;visual=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>speaking clock<\/em> is also a composition created with the recordings of speaking clocks in various sites around the world, and played in a loop during the festival at the SARC Surround Room.<\/p>\n<p>My colleague <a href=\"http:\/\/matthiasmoos.tumblr.com\">Matthias Moos<\/a>, who graduated from the MA Computational Arts last year, presented his installation piece \u2019Exhibit A &#8211; Oh My Gosh\u2019 at the MultiMedia Room SARC throughout the festival.
