Dancers and choreographers were able to use this technology during the development and performance of a dance piece.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/66466903?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;color=ffffff\" height=\"338\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Working in collaboration with a dance student, <a href=\"http:\/\/benglover.net\/interactivedance\/\">\u2018Interactive Technology in Dance\u2019<\/a> was built using motion sensing gaming device, Microsoft Kinect, and open source C++ toolkit,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.openframeworks.cc\/\">OpenFrameworks<\/a>. The software built by OpenFrameworks produced mathematically-generated images that could be controlled by body movements and gestures using the depth camera technology behind Kinect.
